I ordered a 'new' average Sleepypod and was a little shocked to receive a battered Sleepypod box that didn't even come in an actual shipping box. The sender simply stuck a label on the product and shipped it. Also, I'm pretty sure the box was previously opened, but the sender taped each seam. UPDATE - February 2016 I recently bought another Sleepypod for my mum so she can walk my dog when she sits with her dog. The quality seems the same but the smell out of the box is TERRIBLE. The pod (cloth, mesh, lining, everything) gave off a horrible, toxic chemical smell.
