They will work but are not as reliable as Original Equipment part

I bought the same one a year ago and am changing it again. I'm not sure if it really is Acdelco. Both of my items did not come in their original packaging. They came in brown paper bags like the ones you put your lunch in. Let's see how long that lasts, shit because it's quite painful to get this thing

Pros

. Original parts are designed for use with GM vehicle security systems. Aftermarket parts may not meet the same safety standards as original parts depending on the type of part.
