My daughter loves simple colors when it comes to clothes. Zippers, pockets and jackets so this is the perfect piece for her. The zipper is easy to use and although it's a plastic zipper it seems to be quite durable and hasn't caused any problems so far. The divided kangaroo pockets don't really hold much and I wouldn't trust them with anything valuable. The lining is soft fleece that will keep your baby warm and the jersey lined hood is great because it prevents your baby's hair getting caught in the fleece and creating static electricity. Ribbed cuffs are a bit bulky and when your child tries to roll up their sleeves it becomes difficult. There is no logo on the outside of this zip-up sweatshirt/hoodie. I wash with original Tide powder in cold water, add fragrance enhancer and tumble dry low/medium. I didn't notice the shirt shrinking or having any issues with fading or setting other colors.
