As this is a kid's shoe I expected it to have normal traction with running shoes but the bottom is smooth even grooved and has NO traction. It doesn't look like regular rubber floors. My son slipped on the parquet floor. I even tried cleaning the floors thinking they had lint or something. No improvements. We only got them for the Halloween Power Ranger costume so we're keeping them for a day. But I'm going to add dots of hot glue at the bottom to give it some support and prevent it from slipping.
