We bought this while moving across the country and now we have a decent garden for our street cat. He needed a place to sleep and hide, and this seemed like the perfect solution. Assembly was fairly easy, especially with the cordless drill. The four corners were very basic, but the roof and the hinges holding the roof were a bit confusing. We installed the hinges with no problem after examining the image, but the hinges holding it open were more difficult. Holes for 4 walls are pre-drilled. For the rest not so much. More like footprints on the tree. The hinges that hold the roof open were marked left and right, but when we inserted them, which seemed right to us, the lid wouldn't close. We read the hinges and now they work fine. I suspect the hinges were mislabeled or the company that made them has a different right and left side than ours. OK. The time will show. The roof is a mix of asphalt and sand and should hold up fairly well. Also, the vinyl flaps were pre-installed so we didn't have to bother with that work. IT now sits in place and looks great!
