Review on Protective Rubber Hook Liner for Wall Control Pegboard Hooks - 3 Feet of Easy-to-Apply Coating (Black) by Patrice Lippmann

Works well, I've used this with large U hooks to hang some precision metal rails that hold up well on the large hooks. I added a rubber liner to avoid metal to metal contact. Cutting the liner to length was a little tedious at first as the thin metal inside seems to reinforce the rubber (which in itself is a good thing). You definitely need the right pair of scissors, or maybe scissors to ensure the inner metal cuts cleanly and evenly with the rubber to avoid protruding metal. Finally, it seems a little pricey for only 3ft, but it works well for a few specific items that I wanted to avoid metal contact with, so I probably won't need to buy more.
