Review on New Balance Summit Trail Running Men's Shoes and Athletic by Christopher Shavers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good shoes. I needed a wider pair for walking.

I recently checked my leg on an old scale. Told me I'm 11 with a width D. However, I've always felt more comfortable in wider shoes. For my taste, they are a bit narrow at the front. I drive almost exclusively on gravel roads. That's ALMOST enough protection for me. I get a little unexpected mountain pressure from time to time, but not enough to bother me. They're very comfortable when not running and look pretty decent once you get used to the super hot color. Overall I give them a good rating (4 stars). If I bought a wider pair (4E) they would fit me.

Pros
  • The shoe has an elegant and modern look, which makes it suitable for use in other sporting or leisure contexts.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate toe protection.
