This power supply was intended for a simple, small assembly on the AMD AM1 platform. This power supply ticks all the boxes, and while there's no official 80+ certification, it seems efficient enough for all my practical uses. One of my big flaws is that the unit makes a weird high-pitched noise when it powers up, similar to what you hear when a graphics card experiences coil whine. It's very annoying at times, so I had to deduct a star for that. I found the number of ports to suit my needs. If you don't want to go to Newegg for connector types, there are two SATA connectors, two 4-pin Molex connectors, one flex, one 24-pin and one 4-pin EPS connector. For very small ITX builds, this is very handy.
