The pop-up function is simple and convenient, there is no extra hole in the drain fitting for the drain with stem to leak through. The Moen 140780 pull out sink drain in chrome looks and feels very good and all the pieces fit together perfectly. In this case, instead of a rubber gasket in the upper part, I used plumbing, as well as teflon tape on the threads for the exhaust pipe. The chrome-plated drain plug is very easy to unscrew, as is the plastic cartridge of the retracting mechanism - very easy to clean dirt or replace the cartridge if necessary. As another reviewer pointed out, the time-consuming part is removing and cleaning after removing the old drain fitting. The new parts fit very easily and I rotated the exhaust pipe while gently pressing on the brass nut below. Very satisfied and looks great and doesn't leak. Highly recommended!
