With every water change I have had a serious problem with die off in the aquarium. It turns out that I have very soft water that cannot effectively buffer the PH, so changing the water will cause the PH to fluctuate. I had 2 fish left in my 90 gallon tank and every time I added more some died on the next water change. Since using this for the past 6 months I have restocked up to 30 fish and only lost 1 (which appears to be due to transplant shock). Update: I've been using this on 90 gallons for 2 years. and a 20 liter tank. I've reduced the frequency to about every 1.5 to 2 months (your need will depend on the condition of your tap water). I ate 1.25kg in those 2 years so compared to what I spent replacing dead fish that's a lot!
