Review on 64 In 1 Dual Mode Cordless Lithium-Ion Charge LED Power Screwdriver - Upgrade Your Toolkit With The Wowstick 1F+ by Chad Cypert

Out-performs my $129 programmable mini screwdriver!

Man, after using this, I kinda feel like I wasted my money on that 'digital programmable screwdriver' gimmick. I bought that because I was sooo happy with their also-programmable micro soldering iron (which is seriously a game-changer! That thing is AWESOME!) but the screwdriver? Garbage. This however is great! Just enough power, and a manual clutch for hand-tightening (or loosening) right at the ends. And the buttons for forward/reverse are in the right place too.The *only* thing I can knock them for is there is no delay on the LEDs meaning the second you let the button go to stop the screwdriver the light goes off. This means if it's dark and you're trying to locate the screw, you have to 'go in hot' with the head turning, then when you stop it to actually engage the screw head itself, you're plunged back into darkness.Seriously. a 50c timer chip would've fixed that. The other thing is the way they store the bits is garbage! it's these stupid 'tube things' that remind me of the barbisol jar barbers use to dunk their combs. You pull out this 'tree' thing from in a tube, then you have to go hunt for the bits. It's such an inefficient way to store bits. A simple, straight up case would've been so much better (and probably a lot cheaper to make too) solution. So because of the light and the (stupid) bit storage, I have to ding it a star. But if you are talking about the driver itself. well, that thing is aces! LOVE it! I wish they sold it without those stupid bits! (Plus, I already had them from before.)

Pros
  • Convenient charging dock means you can keep it charged and ready to go at all times
Cons
  • The tip can get stuck in the screw
