It had 6 blades and power: I wanted to test it with minced meat. Sometimes I have a pound of meat I want to shred, but it's not enough to get the food processor out. So I tested a pound of diced [1cm cube] meat and with 3 loads: the meat shredded really well. The engine became noticeably warm. So I would not recommend taking large portions of meat, but rather cutting it into small cubes. Very easy to clean and use. There is a plastic cover between the glass cup and the motor. 1 cup is about 1 to 2 cups and is enough to make breadcrumbs. 6 blades get the job done quicker and since they can make meat I'm pretty sure other veggies are easy if the chunks are small.
