Great Product!  I did a lot of homework and asked the seller before I bought this adapter. "MANUFACTURER'S ANSWER CABLE: Yes, the adapter will work to connect your laptop via a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode or a Thunderbolt 3 port." This is exactly what I wanted and works great so far reliable and impeccable. I'm really impressed with the quality of materials and build specs of the Cable Matters brand. If you're looking for a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect a USB-C device to an HDMI device, look no further than the Cable Matters Aluminum USB-C to HDMI Adapter -c page in my laptop and everything! I was able to expand the display to an additional monitor. Just link them together and setup Windows 10 extended display mode. The optional 4K Ultra HD monitor has a different display area. Works exactly as described with no problems. I rarely write reviews, but this one deserves it. I would recommend this to everyone. What great value. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Does the job!
