I'm not a runner, but I needed something to hold my phone while walking around the house because most women's pants/shorts don't have pockets. That's cool. I made it big because I wanted it on my hips. These belts are made for very thin people and it was the only size I thought would be large enough to not reach my waist. It worked great.
