Review on πŸ‘ž Sperry Hampden Venetian Slip Loafer: Premium Men's Shoes for Effortless Loafers & Slip-Ons by Jimmy Breaux

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality has gone down. I loved these shoes. Have bought about 19 pairs over the years.

I buy shoes about 19 times over the years; basically the color of amaretto. I wear that every day. I am very disappointed that the quality has gone down because these are really very comfortable shoes. It won't stand you. They last a few months before the sole on the back peels off, the color fades. I have a sedentary job so I don't walk much. When I got my last pair I did a test by crumpling the shoes a bit and the color immediately formed a line where it was crumpled. Not only is this last pair I bought poor quality but the last three or four from different sellers including Revain. The only reason I bought the last 2-3 pairs is because I've had and am attached to these shoes for years and actually bought them for $60 instead of $90. But to be honest, they don't even cost $60. I would probably buy them for $30 and keep them for a MAXIMUM of 2 months. Sorry, Sperry, you misunderstood. I still buy your sneakers - they are good.
