Exactly what was needed.
The display in the laptop clearly showed how it was treated (cracks!). One of these was used to replace a broken display on an Acer product. I took the frame off, loosened a few screws, disconnected, connected, screwed and put the frame on! It took about six minutes to turn a non-working computer into a working one. The display looks great.
