Worked great for adding a drawstring cord to the hem of my parka

I used this to drawstring the bottom hem of my parka to keep drafts out. Worked great. I found it useful to bend the cord an inch, wrap the thread around it, and then thread it through the hole I made in the hem. It didn't last long and made my slightly oversized parka much warmer with no drafts.
