Look, that's a true rating, as a mechatronics engineer I know what I'm talking about. Let's get started: the sound is really impressive, really amazing, more than the Sony I have, as soon as you put them on your ear the ANC starts working. I've tested in the factory and on the production lines, the decibels there on the line are around 85-95 dB. Imagine that (much like in a train station) we have to use 3M headphones as security. Well, put this on your ear with ANC, do the same thing, really, really cool, even if they're not designed for safety gear. So the overall rating is 2 because when you call/answer someone in that area they swear the people on the other side will hear you clearly and they don't, they can't even hear me on the other side, they hear noise and interference. I've found that when trying to make or take a call the headphones act like they're in hybrid mode, so there's a lot of noise going into the mics, you don't have a fuller ANC. Using it outside works great, everyone can hear me but not inside. I test them at the training station and in the coffee bar. and even with active ANC they don't turn off, they go into "hybrid mode" and also people on the other side tell me that they can hardly hear me, it seems I'm really far away. So, for listening to music it's really immersive, really nice design, good and very fast bluetooth connection, but not for calling, I've tried zoom and microsoft commands, quiet environment, phone and pc, and the sound is far gone, I had to switch to wired headphones.
