Understand what you get.

How can you take a box that's less than 4" x 7" and just over 1" tall and fill it with Googly Eyes? OK, let me explain. I'll be brief, because an attached picture says more than a thousand words. First, divide the box into 15 sections. Fill the first section with 8 big eyes (not the biggest I've seen). Fill the next two compartments with 18 slightly smaller eyes. Continue this process geometrically until you have filled the box. I confess I only counted the eyes in the first three boxes. I have no idea if there really are 1220 of them. It looks like hundreds and hundreds in smaller boxes. They have a self-adhesive backing. I don't think I could do it, but I managed to turn my back on one of the little ones. I'm a librarian at an elementary school. I teach children through 4th grade as part of their library time. I like to add fun designs that match what we read. My little ones can't seem to use the smallest eyes. Or second, or even third. Lacks large or medium eyes. But overall I think the price is fair. Ideal for hobbyists, not for the class. The previous review I read was correct. They're packed too tight. I solved this problem by removing the eyes in the three smallest boxes. I put them in ziplock bags. i save her They are for the teachers I work with who have what little money that we get, spend on supplies (This purchase was made with my own money, thanks) to buy cool stuff for her desk. and then ask for supplies from their fellow teachers. I keep these tiny eyes to share with you.
