I don't know why all bars don't work like this because it made everything so easy. For some reason only turkeys over 20 pounds were available this year. I'm pretty sure the only reason my turkey didn't land on the floor was because of that rack. Transferring the turkey from the pan to the turkey plate was easy because of the handles. However, these days they are on most shelves, so this is not newsworthy. The change to the game, however, is that now you don't have to figure out how to get the turkey off the shelf yourself. Pull the pin and slide it to each side and you're done. It's bloody brilliant. The turkey didn't stick to the post at all, and the pin came out as easily as it went in at the start. The shelf was washed quickly and easily. It doesn't stay completely flat, but since I keep it in my broiler, it doesn't need to be flat for me.
