I'm holding this lighting over where I'm going to paint the watercolor. Gives more light to the page day and night. He adds light to a large lamp above my desk (with two bulbs), a ceiling fan, and a small clamp on the side. The light shining directly above me sometimes helps me see the side. Provides more even lighting. This lamp is quick and easy to set up. It's very easy. It's not warm, although I sometimes turn it off when I don't need all the light. It even looks artistic! I recommend. I sent the first one back because when I screwed in a large lightbulb, it didn't light up at first and then blew out on its own. the lightbulb is broken. The second light worked immediately. I like it.
