I bought this softbox to provide more light when shooting simple YouTube videos. Totally satisfied with the purchase, delivered quickly, very easy to assemble. It provides good quality uniform light, which makes night photography much easier. Overall a great product for the price - would recommend.

Good value for money! It's quite bright and I've experimented with moving it farther away from the subject to lessen the harshness of the light. This is a very cool hue so you may have to play with the white balance to find a good match. If your camera has a white balance setting to change Kelvin temperature, this is your best choice! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now when photographing clothes for my online shop and I'm very satisfied so far. I live in a 1950's house with no overhead lights and it's impossible to take realistic photos even with a dozen table lamps and all the curtains open. This light saved me a lot of editing time! DO NOT BUY! I was completely seduced by the good reviews this product received. Not only lured, but also cheated! Set it up, all right, light on, click, nothing. I knew another reviewer had this issue and customer support sent them a link to a video on how to set up connection explorers. I emailed them, got the video and made the necessary adjustments, and still nothing. I don't think it needs to be that hard for a brand new product to work properly. I know you get what you pay for, but for $40
