Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance ACDelco Advantage 46D2172A Lower Front Suspension Ball Joint by Carlos Chan

The first time I replaced the lower ball joint instead of the whole wishbone. This item is permanently discontinued. While you can mess up the old one to get the old one out (brute force), installation is another matter. You need a set of ball joints. I got one through the tool loan program at my local auto parts store. It saved a day of repairs. You will also need snap ring pliers to install the C-ring (picture left). Repairs are pretty easy if you have the right tools (like most things in life). The rubber boot is difficult to assemble. You'll probably want to install it (with the right lube) BEFORE you put the lever back on the car. But this item is perfect for my 2004 Elantra.
