The motor is very easily disconnected from the output - that's why it makes noise.
The engine was switched off and was running very loudly. The instructions should tell everyone to check it out, but I didn't see it anywhere in the instructions. If yours is noisy, this is definitely the reason. I can't imagine the motor ever making it to delivery and staying connected. Must be splined or threaded. And eventually falls apart again. The tiny amount of carbon in the cartridge is absurd.
