Damn! This wire was only slightly larger than my old 4 gauge, but because it was thin it was packed so tightly it didn't need to be thick. So flexible that it can easily be routed around the engine compartment. We tested 6 inches up to 2800A for 6 seconds before the sheath melted. Things are not BS. It will start your starter with no problem. The terminals were nice and long and easily crimped with a hydraulic crimping tool, and the window made it easy to solder the wire to the ferrule after crimping. The shrink machine didn't notice the release of adhesive after shrinking with a heat gun. I cut it off and used real T&B heat shrink glue.
