Well, after a long search I was very happy that I finally decided on a new player. My T1 was well packaged with no signs of problems. After opening, I found a couple of big problems. First, the counterweight was separated from the tonearm and was in the box. I also noticed bearing oil dripping onto the top of the platter. I was too excited to let that stop my listening test, so I went ahead and cleaned the top, connected the arm and set up the turntable with one of my albums to play through my Denon AVR receiver. Well I couldn't get this player to play sound. After a few tries I wrapped it up and sent it back to Revane. I give it one star for the quality of the fit and finish and the good packaging. -4 for everything else. I will repeat the order and keep my fingers crossed that the quality control of the project is better than this first attempt. If not, I plan to order another player. Stay with us. TO UPDATE. The second try was adorable! My new T1 came triple boxed from Revain and in perfect condition. After a quick setup, I started playing right away. The sound is top notch! Increased my rating from 1 star to 4! Good Pro-Ject reducer. Love it!
