One of the best beginner tables in a long time!

Great player! Great sound quality and nice finish. One of the best players in this price range I've ever heard. In addition, the quality is noticeable. From the power supply to the tonearm, from the platter to the cap, everything feels solid and high quality. I had several turntables before the Xperience II project. For the price, this table is hard to beat.

Decent player at a good price

I was able to buy it for $200. It was a little tricky getting the arm weight right, but with a lot of persistence I managed it. It reminds me a lot of the old Rega 3 I used to have. Good tight sound, balanced but slightly warm tone, good channel separation from the Ortofon pickup. It brings back the joy of listening to records and lets me go shopping in search of gems at the weekend. It turns out that the old Blue Note records from the late 50's and early 60's sound exactly like I remembered…

Nice player + some notes on SONOS

This player looks good and sounds great. We've had him for a few months now and he's great. 1) The satin walnut finish actually looks better than the photos here. 2) Four stars only because I want automatic returns. 3) Careful, the plexiglass sheet is nice but scratches quite easily. 4) Some SONOS specific notes here: Really great that we could line up directly with this player. Setup was smooth, super easy. SONOS automatically detects the turntable when the needle drops. The recordings played…

There is a quality control issue

First of all I was impressed with the quality and finish of this turntable. The packaging felt well thought out, installation was easy and the turntable itself looks really great. However, after setting it up and playing the first record, I realized something was wrong. The record seemed a little warped and there was a problem with the needle. The sound quality was terrible. It was really disappointing. Luckily, returning Revain is very easy and I had a replacement two days later…

Serious turntable with fit and finish

I have the black grand piano version. The table seems much more expensive than its modest cost. It sounds good. really good with OM 5e installed which you can easily upgrade to another OM line. Good glass top, thick strap and perfect tuning. This is good news for those who are crawling down the rabbit hole and playing around with orientation, VTF and azimuth. This is adjusted to exactly the right height for the OM with the supplied felt mat. The power button isn't visible, which some will like,

No free product evaluation. I paid for mine.

Well, after a long search I was very happy that I finally decided on a new player. My T1 was well packaged with no signs of problems. After opening, I found a couple of big problems. First, the counterweight was separated from the tonearm and was in the box. I also noticed bearing oil dripping onto the top of the platter. I was too excited to let that stop my listening test, so I went ahead and cleaned the top, connected the arm and set up the turntable with one of my albums to play through my…

Audiophile quality turntable at a good price

First. I had Project Primary and compare it to T1. The T1 is a new plug and play audiophile player, but the features it has are much more expensive. The T1 is a must-have turntable with a decent audiophile amp if you really want to hear its benefits. I use an Emotiva TA-100 amp and a pair of Dayton Audio MK442 "converted" monitors with a subwoofer. I also have an acrylic mat that improves the sound. The T1 version I use is the base model. The ORIGINAL glass top (as found on Rega turntables)…

  • Easy setup

  • There are other interesting options.
