Review on 🎧 BASN MMCX Connector IEM Earphones - Professional In-Ear Monitor Headphones for Singers, Drummers, and Musicians (Pro Clear Brown) by Vincent Lott

Disclaimer: I purchased these headphones strictly as in-ear headphones for live performance, not for listening to music. I'm sure they're great for listening to music, but if that's what you're looking for, it's probably not the kind of review you want to read. I was initially skeptical about these headphones due to their low price compared to some of the main competitors (Shure, Sennheiser, etc.). However, I used them for the first time during a concert last week and they were great! My setup used a Roland V-Drum electronic drum kit with a monitor mix routed directly to the drum controller. The sound in the BASN headphones was crystal clear and did a very good job of blocking out most of the outside noise in a noisy room. Not necessarily noise canceling, but not too far either. Since the headphones did an excellent job of minimizing outside noise, I didn't have to turn them up to full volume. I have used mostly traditional wedge speakers throughout my live career and I could definitely tell a huge difference at the end of the night when my ears were NOT ringing! Because I could hear myself and the rest of the band and so much more. more clearly than I was used to, I felt like I could play the drums more relaxed after a few hours and not be as tired as usual. The headphones were very comfortable. Even when I started sweating, they held up pretty well. I adjusted them 1 or 2 times during the performance but nothing special. If there's one downside to these headphones, it's the external noise cancellation, which makes it difficult to communicate verbally with the rest of the band during a performance. If you're in a band that likes to use verbal cues as a means of communication during performances (which I often do), these headphones can make things difficult for you. However, the compromises are worth it. Conclusion: Great in-ear headphones at an amazing price.
