The Gingher standard pliers are truly ideal for tailors and others who are satisfied with a tool designed to always be at hand - on the ring finger hanging. . Like a patchwork quilt, often catching pieces in a row with a few loose threads. I just don't have to cut threads as often. I have to increase this to use it, but that's ok. It's small, with VERY thin tips that can cut threads that would otherwise be difficult to reach. I would compare its reach to a cloverleaf ripper. It is safe to work with the thread without tearing the fabric. Very helpful. Satisfied.
