I bought these to clean my bedroom wiring. My wiring situation is atypical due to the limited area and the fact that I have log walls instead of drywall. I took a multi tool with a plunge cutter and cut a hole. I simply lifted the lid, placed a level on it, and traced the inside with a pencil. Then I cut out some more. The body is stuck in the hole. I laid the board on top and marked the screw holes. Then I pre-drilled the holes. The supplied screws were too short for this purpose. Instead, I used drywall screws. I also didn't need a metal box to mount them into the drywall. After both holes were cut and drilled, I ran the two shortest HDMI cables I could. They connected quickly to the panel and the connections were solid. I wasn't worried at all about them falling out. One thing I made sure to do was run an HDMI cable from the bottom HDMI on one panel to the bottom of the other panel. This will prevent confusion in the future. After that, all I had to do was run the cables from the dish to the cable box and from the other dish to the TV. I get clear HD channels and haven't noticed any problems. I use three 3-foot segments of Amazon's core gold-plated HDMI cables.
