🔧 Super Shine X Zephyr Polishing Kit Review

Great product. Very happy with it. Used it on a pontoon. After extensive sanding, this polishing kit gave the pontoon a near perfect mirror finish, I didn't think that was possible on a 25 year old boat.

The heavy grinding wheel was so off center I couldn't use it. Shake the meat grinder hard. Until I realized what the paint is good for. Was used after the final version and had no value.

By far the best product for polishing aluminum. My rims look like new. I watched the Texas Premier Polishing YouTube video and followed the instructions. I started grinding 400/800/1200 then I ran the wheels. Those wheels were dull and nasty.

Complete rubbish. The company doesn't understand the definition of a kit. You will also need the Zephyr CFPREX 2" airway dilator which is a must have and is NOT included in this already expensive kit. Find out that it is useless without the additional part required!

A lot of hard work, but it's worth it! I took off an old black painted wheel and then made it shine again with this kit. I wasn't able to achieve a true high gloss finish with just this set and a light sanding, but that could be a wheel fault or my fault. However, it looks 1000 times better than it was!

This makes my wheels easier to clean! Very good product. If you don't know how to do this, there are tons of videos on YouTube showing you how to use each wheel and mix. I used these on my Fuel Forged 24x16 wheelset. and some other Zephyr products are looking good again! Great product and there are before and after photos

For many years I have done my best to keep the diamond plate and other aluminum on my trailer in perfect condition. Hand applied products, orbital or rotary buffers, got the job done, took hours and always seemed more labor intensive than I thought it was worth, so I always hoped to find something better. I bought a digitally controlled variable speed load buffer and installed pads. Despite the neglect, I didn't even need to do all three steps. A soft cut, followed by buffing pads, effortlessly

I spent about 5 minutes on this and put it back in the box to return. Major issues: 1) The wheels are ridiculously unbalanced. I understand these are not precision rotors or anything like that. Some vibration is expected. But not so much. Your hands will go numb in 30 seconds, and the grinder will most likely not be very happy with you either. 2) Flange "Fuse" made of plastic. Mine didn't break, but I certainly didn't expect it to stay intact for too long. Safety flanges alone cost about $20…

The white wheel fell apart within the first 30 seconds of use. The middle polishing wheel held together. Three strips of polishing paste were rock hard and could not be applied to either polishing discs or rims. The threads on the locks of the polishing wheel fell off almost immediately. The blue polishing liquid is correctly connected. I bought this to quickly make about 12 discs per side. That's not a very good solution.
