Review on πŸ–€ KEVYN AUCOIN Black Indecent Mascara by Carmen Thomas

Great magic wand for my very small eyes with droopy lids!

I have very small, very closed eyes. So I usually prefer really thin sticks. Typically, thin chopsticks add length and separation, while thicker chopsticks add volume. I like the length and separation with thin sticks. But I always wish I could use thicker sticks to get the volume they give but they are always too heavy for my tiny closed lid eyes. When I saw this wand I thought it would be the best of both worlds! It's thicker on the inside and then gets thinner at the end. So I was hoping to get volume from the inside of the stick and length and distance from the end of the stick. I'm glad I tried it because it actually works exactly how I thought it would, it gives shape to the chopsticks! I like that the tip is thinner. I have small eyes, so I always put mascara on bigger sticks where I don't want it. With this wand, the thinner tip sits in the inner corner of my eye so I can easily apply mascara where I don't need it. Separates the lashes and gives them length. Then, as the brush expands, it begins to add volume to my lashes at the ends. It makes my eyes look more open and raised. Like it a lot! The formula is good. It's not too wet where it gets dirty and spills onto my hoods right after application, but not too dry where it flakes off. That's a good middle ground. It goes on wonderfully. It doesn't look lumpy. It does not crumble and does not spread throughout the day. Washes out easily at night. I usually only buy mascara in the pharmacy. I haven't found any worth spending the extra money on. Most mascaras look the same to me, apart from the different brushes and whether the formula is wetter or drier. Otherwise I never notice a big difference. And I find many such variations in the pharmacy. But I really like the effect this wand gives on my lashes and I love the formula. I can't remember the mascara I saw at the pharmacy with a wand shaped where it's thicker on the inside of the wand and thinner to a point at the tip of the wand. So if I can't find one, I would buy this mascara. Overall I think this is a great mascara. The formula is beautiful. I love magic wand! I love the effect it gives my eyes - it makes my small, droopy eyelids look more open and lifted! If I can't find a stick of the same shape at the pharmacy, I buy it when it's gone. Would definitely recommend if like me you like a thinner stick but want the volume of a thicker stick!
