Good idea but not very good execution

Looks cheap. It does the job, sort of. The trigger you pull to draw paint into the tube is like a child's plastic toy with a spring. It wobbles when you pull it back. Then the "lever" you push to release the paint is a guess. 7x out of 10 I had too much paint and had to smudge it frantically. I know it's only $20 or so (can't remember exactly), but it's just a piece of plastic. Also, the kit does not include a clip on the reservoir that attaches to the paint can. I used the one that came with my Wagner colored pencil. It looks like a flimsy toy that is about to break when painted with paints. The head is twisted for an unknown reason. Should be flat. I don't like it but I used it anyway because the alternative is those edges you dip in paint hoping for even coverage. Saving grace does not drip from a pitcher onto a wall. Holds up well. But then again, pulling the trigger is nowhere near an exact science, and good luck getting the exact amount of paint you need. The curved head made me want to use it like an electric razor - it's a sweeping motion as paint drips from the edge onto the area you're trying to protect. i don't love it But I use it. I just wish it had been changed the way I mentioned. D
