The button extender is ok, though the first button was too far spaced for me to use right away - had to wait until I was another week or two beyond being able to button the jeans before being able to hold them closed with this. The metal clasp extender hook, which I was hoping to use for most of my work/dress pants, does not fit into the metal "loop" on MOST of my work pants. Most of my pants are from Banana Republic, and it seems the metal hardware they use on their pants is a smidge smaller than the hook on this product.Disappointed, but now I bought a BeBand, which is PERFECT. It both holds up pants that are unbuttoned AND it smooths over the resulting lumpiness, leaving a nice smooth rounded belly silhouette.
