I was about a size 20 prior to getting pregnant. I was using elastic bands to increase the size of my waistband. I purchased this extender along with the Baby Be Mine Maternity Belly Band in size 4 when I was about 7 months pregnant and boy it was a life saver. This is so comfortable. I only used couple of times the waistband extender with buttons and it didn't work for me. It was too big even at the end of my pregnancy (I was 115 lbs before and gained only 16-17 lbs for the whole pregnancy) so it didn't support pants on me, I ended up wearing leggings or sweatpants. I would say it is not worth the money.

The button extender is ok, though the first button was too far spaced for me to use right away - had to wait until I was another week or two beyond being able to button the jeans before being able to hold them closed with this. The metal clasp extender hook, which I was hoping to use for most of my work/dress pants, does not fit into the metal "loop" on MOST of my work pants. Most of my pants are from Banana Republic, and it seems the metal hardware they use on their pants is a smidge…

It was okay. The button extender works fine, but the hook extender tends to fall off (i.e. when going to bathroom). I used it until I went to purchase maternity clothes. I am glad to have it in case I need to use my regular pants for something. I would not use this in place of maternity clothes. I found stores that carried maternity pants in petite length so I am happier wearing maternity pants.

This was a great product for me when I was pregnant. It was especially perfect for the just starting to show phase where your regular pants don't fit but your not quite big enough to wear maternity pants. I've already recommended it to a friend.

It is uncomfortable, pops out and off, I am sorry I bought it. I would not reccomend this to anyone, just wear sweatpants.

Used it thru out my whole pregnancy. I didn’t have to buy any matternity jeans and I wore a cover belt over it and wore long shirt all the time so it was never noticeable.

Quality was fine. I wound up not using this at all for my pregnancy. The spacing of the buttons was too far apart with the elsatic, so it would not stay fastened. The dress pant hooks would have been great, except the hook was too big to match the hooks on any of my dress pants, thus making it useless. I had better luck just using a hairband doubled up trhough my button hole. Save yourself the money and just get a couple of strong hair bands in appropriate colors.
