I bought this because it seemed like my child could learn something while playing. He's got all these parts that look like they help with posability. But he didn't care at all. Pros: In theory, the pieces are perfect for our little ones to learn how to use their hands and move things. (Would your child play with this? I never did, but you can!) This toy is very strong, just enough for a child to smack it without breaking it. It's colorful and has lots of different things to keep your little one busy. Cons: Although it's very strong, I was always afraid my son would hurt himself on it. This tree is the corners that make the points. They won't pierce you if you touch their tips, but if the baby falls and hits his head with his head, he may bleed or, worse, need stitches. That has always been my fear. I think when my son gets older he can play with it but his hands are bigger and the playing pieces are smaller. The toy is smaller than I thought when I bought it. In general, this can be good for dexterity and learning if your little one likes it, but if he's clumsy you might just play with it together.
