I bought these boots for my 9 year old son - they arrived on time, nicely packaged and fit well. BUT. Shoe soles are SUPER smooth! (They look like they have good traction, but they don't - I don't know how to explain, but the material at the bottom of the boot is like smooth rubber, and if you're walking on a smooth floor, it is dangerously slippery! Imagine this (you're walking on an air hockey table with a couple of pucks on your feet. That's what I'm comparing these boots to!) My son was in these boots for 2 minutes right out of the box and slipped on our hardwood. floor steps! I don't know if they need a bit of wear or what, but the bottom is definitely NOT "non-slip" as advertised. now she no longer carries my child because he is afraid of slipping again. I would return them for something else if I could, but since he was already wearing them I can't. Also, these boots are NOT waterproof - they claim to be "waterproof" but they also claim to be "non-slip". " Sooo idk.
