!IMPORTANT! They will NOT fit your standard XJ Headlight Housing. You will definitely need to drill a one inch diameter hole in the housing for the cable as it is not located directly at the back like regular headlights. EVEN then they are still too big and stick out so the strut doesn't fit the standard length bolts. HOWEVER, after you properly address these issues. The flashlight, despite being mass-produced, seems solid, heavy, and of relatively good quality. The supplied cables and connectors are thick and appear to be of good quality. The only problem I find structurally is that the lights are not the same. The parts are glued unevenly, the lighting of both lights is not at the same angle, etc. everything that goes with a Chinese mass-produced product. All in all I've spent almost 2 whole years choosing the headlights for my 99 xj sport and I have to say I'm quite disappointed. These headlights looked basically how I wanted them to, especially with DRLs, and these headlights had exactly the brightness I was looking for. But all in all, after a grueling install and troubleshoot, these lights didn't seem to have hit the mark. The good news is they are ok now and I fixed the imperfections, they look very clean and elegant especially with drl.
