This pair creaks with every step, partly due to the compression of the insole. I weigh 150 pounds. I went back to Allen Edmonds hoping for a solution at my expense but they are unable to get back to me instead of accepting a gift card to AE. After owning 12+ PRS's in the mid 1980's I was finally done with it. Rancourt has everything in AE and costs an additional $100. LJM, Olympia.PS. My return window is closed but I've only worn it twice and most of the time they've been at the AE factory. My 2 remaining Aves are amazing but unfortunately they are in the past.
