As good as original.
Like the original but at a good price. DISH provides you with programming codes (three digits) on its website with which you can control almost any Mediabox. DISH also has a HOWTO on their website to get the codes working. This gadget even controls my old amp tuner to turn it on/off, adjust volume, set and mute which is all I need in there.
