For loads up to 15,000 pounds only SEE UPDATE

UPDATE: The supplier confirmed the issue on the product information page. That's good, but still make sure you are/received original packages. Original Message: I just received this product today and haven't used it yet, but wanted an overview so users can clearly understand the limitations of use. The packaging of the restraints contains very misleading information. It states that the shackles are "for loads up to: 45,000 lbs" and the breaking strength is listed as "Breaking Strength: 15,000 lbs". It's just back; Shackles can be used for loads up to 15,000lbs and the breaking strength is 45,000lbs. Bugs like this can kill people if they don't recognize them. The product info page is a bit confusing as it mixes up two ratings/numbers. Now to the restraints themselves. I've been using softbrackets for a long time. I like her. They are quicker and easier to use than traditional metal braces. These particular restraints are relatively stiff, making them a bit more difficult to use, although I suspect they will loosen with use. They have big knot holes, which is good. They also have longer sleeves than any of my other shackles, which is also a good thing as it helps keep the synthetic rope from fraying. In general, I like the shackles, but the seller needs to correct the error on the packaging. This is misleading and dangerous. I'm giving it two stars because of a packaging error as it affects safety. If they fix the bug then this is a 5 star product.
