Last night I used this product for the first time as I have slightly damaged hair due to coloring and very hard well water in my house. The first thing you do is open the container and it's bright green and smells like Andean mint! It can't be that bad, can it? I apply it to my hair (about 4 inches from head down) for the recommended 3-5 minutes. I admit, your hair is super silky afterwards. They also smell somewhere between an after-dinner mint and a men's perfume. I also don't recommend using it in the shower. This only applies if you wash your hair in the sink. It helps, but definitely not for me. I hope this helps someone else!
