Bright, good features in the application. I bought for the remote access feature for guests who don't have the app or want to use voice control. You can use the remote control, how cool! Some say they don't last long but I've had them for four weeks now and guests love them. I use built in glass lights with them and now I can control 14 lights from one remote! They get very hot, but I'll leave them on at 85 percent because the built-in lights in the basement give enough light. However, I wouldn't recommend them in a closed case, maybe that's why I still have a review, they've started to fade. Ordinary LED lamps cannot be used in a closed lamp either. These are high tech so they really can't choke and overheat.
