Worked exactly as expected

So why only 2 stars? I'm used to leaving a rechargeable light on my bike until I need to charge it. Since I only ride 2 hours a week on the weekends and this battery is expected to last over 30 hours, I expected to keep it on the bike for a few months. Surprise! I picked it up on the first ride after a short 15 minute flat road ride on a KAC bike rack which ensures the bike doesn't move one iota. It worked fantastic during a two hour drive up and down a mountain paved road. When I got home there was no bike computer. He fell! I have been told this is not intended for use with a bike on a bike rack. Big no starter for me. Because I love this device I bought another one and on my next trip I took it off before attaching the bike rack and even took my bike into my minivan to make sure it only fell into my van when I forget to take it off. . With this constraint, everything is perfect. I'm hoping for a better mount design so I can just leave it on until I need to charge it and I look forward to buying one. FYI I've been using Wahoo ANT+ sensors and have used my phone on the mount so far. It's way better than risking an expensive bike mount phone, and way cheaper than a Wahoo bike computer, and even the app works better than the Wahoo app and integrates with Strava.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
