Rider 320 with cadence and heart rate monitor

I recommend this product without reservation. This product comes with a cadence sensor and a heart monitor, which are easy to use and work well. The speed comes from the GPS, which is also accurate. If you need a wheel sensor, it will cost an additional $44 until you need it. I have looked at many different bike computers, returned a few and I find them to be excellent value for money. The display is easy to read even in bright sunlight thanks to the contrast and offers easy access to several…

Good product but with a serious defect

I have replaced my Garmin 510 with a Bryton Ryder 320. I like the clarity of the screen and a big plus for me was that it picks up sensors very quickly, unlike the 510. However, after three weeks of use I have a few issues: 1. When speed drops below 6mph (all my rides are in steep hills), direction and incline are not legible 2. More importantly, the spacing is very loose. I use the matching Bryton speed sensor and I know my routes like the back of my hand. He is often wrong about the distance…

Wow. I'm impressed with the Rider 320

I was a studded Wahoo user and because the price was really affordable I gave the Rider 320 a try, oh my god I was impressed. the bike computer itself is fast, loading is fast, the page, changing the menu is also fast, the display is very clear, visibility on the road is amazing. I'm also impressed with the software development they've done over the years and improved over the previous generation. (I was a Bryton user a few years ago) The setup is very similar to Wahoo, changing what's on the…

Great minimalist computer

It doesn't have a color screen or map navigation but I don't need it. Instead, you get a crisp black and white display that's easy to read even in direct sunlight. The battery lasts for several trips without recharging. The GPS connection is quite fast and seems to be stable. Connecting the heart rate monitor was easy, as was syncing it with my phone and Strava to automatically upload the data. The display has multiple customization options, so you can preset multiple data options (like speed…

Worth every penny! for bike GPS modules

We bought this for my wife who has just started cycling. A bike computer definitely adds fun to your workout. Although everything works great, there are some features that are not well described in the attached instructions. It only came with a small booklet, but after a little fiddling I was able to set it up. The device blends well with their Specialized and matches the aesthetic. The battery life is just insane. A few rides and it hasn't even dented the battery. 35 hours definitely seems…

Exceeded expectations

Exceeded expectations. This device compares favorably with its price. I really like the design of this bike computer. The screen is a good size, the sun is clearly visible. You can also adjust the contrast, which is also helpful. It was easy to install on my bike, required no wires, and didn't have to attach anything to the spokes or tires. Basically, all you have to do is attach the mount and turn it on. Download tracks and easily sync them to Strava. This is really important because I use it…

Impressive product with poor customer support!

This is an amazing bike computer. It has many features not found on other computers. If you download the manual you will be impressed. The display is crystal clear, the Android app is great. The only problem I have is that most of the general settings menus are gone. I took the 320 outside and with the GPS purchased the menu items reappeared. Some of the missing menu items were selecting units of measure and resetting preferences. I've been playing around with the device and taking a short…

Worked exactly as expected

So why only 2 stars? I'm used to leaving a rechargeable light on my bike until I need to charge it. Since I only ride 2 hours a week on the weekends and this battery is expected to last over 30 hours, I expected to keep it on the bike for a few months. Surprise! I picked it up on the first ride after a short 15 minute flat road ride on a KAC bike rack which ensures the bike doesn't move one iota. It worked fantastic during a two hour drive up and down a mountain paved road. When I got home…

Very efficient GPS based cycle computer including speedometer

I like this device. I bought it mainly to track my rides and send info to STRAVA, a popular app for runners, swimmers and ESPECIALLY cyclists/cyclists. Battery life is listed as 35 hours, I can confirm it lasted at least 20 hours on a single charge. It's backlit so you can read it even on late-night and late-night bike rides, and it stayed on and lit from 8:00 p.m. to 4:50 a.m. when I returned from a place 60 miles from home, where I ended my journey. part during the day. I honestly think the…
