Review on 🚴 Bryton Rider 320E GPS Bike/Cycling Computer: Enhancing Performance with 5 Satellite Systems, Long Battery Life, ANT+ and BLE Sensor Support by Robert Arneson

Very efficient GPS based cycle computer including speedometer

I like this device. I bought it mainly to track my rides and send info to STRAVA, a popular app for runners, swimmers and ESPECIALLY cyclists/cyclists. Battery life is listed as 35 hours, I can confirm it lasted at least 20 hours on a single charge. It's backlit so you can read it even on late-night and late-night bike rides, and it stayed on and lit from 8:00 p.m. to 4:50 a.m. when I returned from a place 60 miles from home, where I ended my journey. part during the day. I honestly think the device is on par with the Wahoo Element Bolt in terms of readability, although it doesn't use the fast dim backlight like the device. You can customize how fields are displayed on multiple data pages using your phone and the Bryton Active app. Like Garmin and Wahoo devices, it connects to power meters, heart rate monitors, speed sensors, and cadence sensors via Ant+ or Bluetooth. You can buy a more expensive full version of this product that comes with a heart rate monitor and cadence sensors ($60 extra), but I bought the device myself and later added the sensors as separate purchases. You can view this data along with time, temperature, incline, kilometers traveled per ride, cadence, heart rate and other data items you want to track during your ride. A limitation. Some people like to use these devices to draw turn-by-turn maps and driving directions. This 320 will not do that, I understand the Bryton Rider 420 and even the higher 450 model are capable of it. 320 is great for me as I don't need this feature as I use google maps to check my location and find my way and other phone apps and I don't need the turn by turn feature I use she doesn't even pick up the phone.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
