Confused about this product.

I bought these mats after reading the reviews and on a 'we'll see how it works' principle. I don't know yet, I only use Cricut/Silhouette brand mats and I've never had any major problems, other than that they lose adhesion quickly. .Well, using the first mat (the only one I've used so far) was a BATTLE. I have the standard grip style. 1. For some reason, using this matte forced me to completely reconfigure the editing settings for all of my projects. I create original art vinyl decals for my Etsy shop and cut the same files with the same settings without having to change anything, but on this rug no settings seem to get the blade to cut deep enough to completely remove the decal shape rest to separate it . Paper. I did my usual setup once. ok, not deep enough. did it twice. that should be more than enough, right? . no after the 4th round I gave up because the stickers were no longer usable. I had to try a lot to cut them properly, so I wasted a lot of material. 2. I'm aware that new mats are very sticky and I've never had a problem with them. I've even used Strong Grip in the past with no problems. This mat was sooooo sticky it kept pulling the backing of my vinyl. I had to slowly remove the many tiny scraps of paper that were left between the cuts. Once I figure that out, I'll try to better address the issues. But for someone who uses cutting machines for a living on a daily basis and has been doing so for years, these mats WERE A BATTLE. Will no longer buy for my specific use.
