So I ordered this cable to replace a faulty Category 5 cable I had with my NAS as it gets heavy use, but decided to test it out a bit first. I hooked it up to my system that I use for streaming and I've had no problems. I'm forcing this connection quite hard because not only am I downloading, I'm also getting NDI 1080p output from another system on my network. This ndi thread was experiencing occasional freezes and frame drops, but I didn't do this for an extended period of three hours. I know cat8 is a bit of an exaggeration but I've always been prescient when buying hardware and since it really didn't cost much I don't mind already having it if I'm going to upgrade my network in the future. Overall I'm very happy with this cable and will probably buy a few more if I need them.
