This is a fantastic set. I love the starter shampoo/conditioner. I have very dry hair (damaged hair, highlights, color, blow dry, straighten, etc) and am always looking for superior products that will make my hair look and feel healthier than it really is (I need to stop bullying my hair, but I'm addicted to flat irons). However, the shampoo and conditioner are wonderful. When I rinsed out the shampoo, I could immediately tell that these two products would be winners because they felt soft, and after rinsing, my hair felt soft and tangled. Once the AC was added it was a bonus. A scent is present but not overpowering at all. If you're sensitive to smells, you might not care. The scent is hard to explain - maybe it smells like the fresh scent of baby powder? The leave-in smoothing/styling cream is amazing. I tend to rotate my shampoos/conditioners and have just discovered another luxury brand that is in my rotation (but used sparingly for cost reasons). This cream is fantastic and does exactly what I wanted with my hair type (like frizzy hair). It softens my hair, makes it soft but doesn't weigh it down. I've used many similar products (e.g. Moroccan Oil Moisturizing Styling Cream, which I really like, Oribe Supershine Styling Cream [I also like], IGK Good Behavior Moisturizing Spray [slightly different but similar effect], etc.), and it's true up there I have to say one thing I LOVE about others is their scent and this one also has a very nice scent but it's very light so you don't get the same aromatic feeling. Who needs less flavor - this is for you. Performance is up there with the best. The fact that this is a set is a general bonus. When I received my set the conditioner cover came off as well so I contacted GK Hair through their official website. You have confirmed that your product is genuine when purchased through the GK Hair Store on Revain (GK HAIR).
