This monopod looked exactly how I wanted it, but after intermittent use for about a year and a half it became unstable. The "Quick Connect" function can no longer keep my camera and lens steady. I've tightened the screw on the connector so much I'm afraid it will strip the threads. Also, I've tightened the adapter that fits on the bottom of my zoom lens to no avail. What happens now is that after I've focused on the subject, I release the lens to take the picture, the lens drops about 1/2 inch and I miss. Extremely annoying. I feel like the monopod was misrepresented to me. .The plug and adapter are made of plastic and will not withstand even minimal use. The plug should have been metal. I will never buy from this seller again!
